Held every year since 1948, the Monaco Red Cross Gala Ball has long been one of the most important fundraisers for the charity’s Monaco chapter, as well as an essential element of the social circuit in this glamorous city-state. The 69th edition of the gala dinner is held this year at the Sporting d’eté in the Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo on July 29.
After opening with the classic tombola, an evening of music, dance and delicious cuisine ensues alongside the art auction, a tradition that’s been a central part of the event since 1989. The traditional fireworks display rounds off the night’s festivities.
For a chance to party with royalty, some high donors may also be offered the chance to meet and greet with Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco. Act fast though, as the gala draws one of the most prestigious and generous crowds of philanthropists and socialites each year, in support of this worthy organisation that conducts vital humanitarian work around the world.
