Alpine vulture (scientific name: Gyps himalayens­is) isthe vulture genusbird of Falconifor­mes Accipitrid­ae. Itis alargeanim­al witha total length of about 110 cm. Itlives on thegrassla­nd and alpine valley regionwith­an altitude of 2500~4500 meters. The bird which can fly over the Mount Qomolangma, isone of the highest flying birdsin the world.
