Shen Meets Visiting Hong Kong Delegation
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China, the All-china Women's Federation Hong Kong Delegates Association Limited on August 9, 2017, held the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition at China National Museum of Women and Children in Beijing. The exhibition's theme was "China's Heart and Blood — Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland." Officials who attended the ceremony included: Shen Yueyue, Vice-chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the All-china Women's Federation (ACWF); Song Xiuyan, Vice-president and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF; Deng Li, Vice-president and Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF; Yin Xiaojing, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR); and Connie Wong, Chairperson of the ACWF Hong Kong Delegates Association Limited.
Shen met the visiting delegation headed by Wong. On behalf of the ACWF, Shen expressed a warm welcome to the delegation. Shen said she hoped ACWF Hong Kong Delegates Association Limited will unite and lead women from different fields and across the HKSAR to maintain the region's longterm prosperity and stability, and to make contributions to the advancement of national prosperity of their motherland.
