Every Treasure Tells a Story, a documentary produced by and broadcast on China Central
Television (CCTV). The documentary and another CCTV program, National Treasure, have become popular among video-website users, and cultural relics are referred to as wanghong (Internet celebrity) by netizens. It proves that museums and TV stations have found a vivid way to show to the public the stories of cultural relics.
Xi Jinping's report during the 19th CPC National Congress stated: "We will strengthen protection and utilization of cultural relics, and better preserve and carry forward our cultural heritage." In recent years, China has issued a series of policies to boost the development of archeological work, and to promote the proper utilization of cultural relics.
