Working is a major part of a person's life, and people spend most of their energy at work. Russian writer Maxim Gorky (1868-1936) reportedly said, "When work is a pleasure, life is joy. When work is duty, life is slavery."
Chen Zhiwu, finance professor with Yale University, once wrote in one of his articles, "Let's imagine two different societies. In one society, people do jobs that they are not interested in, and they only work to make a living. In the other society, people do jobs that they are passionate about, and that they are interested in. So, in which society do people feel happier and do people have more efficiency and creativity? The answer is obviously the second society."
Working is not only a method of making a living, it is also a way of fulfilling oneself. If you are not feeling good at your workplace, you can escape it.
