Achievements in Chinese Children's Development让儿童在阳光下健康快乐地成长
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in November 2012, the CPC Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, has put forward new ideas, thoughts and strategies to benefit millions of Chinese women and children that reflect the care and concern of the CPC Central Committee. The Chinese government has established pragmatic and effective policies and measures for their advancement and well-being, creating a favorable social environment for women's all-round development and children's healthy growth. Chinese women, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, have played their unique roles in social sectors and domestic life, and demonstrating that they are equal to men in the task of building China into a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Beginning with June edition, Women of China English Monthly publishes a series of reports that document the achievements and progress China has made in promoting women and children's development in past five years, to celebrate the 12th National Women's Congress of China, which will be held this autumn.
