Ex­clu­siv­ity is key to the Wynn re­tail phi­los­o­phy, and that is just part of why Ju­dith Leiber Cou­ture and Wynn have been in busi­ness to­gether since day one. “We have had a very long re­la­tion­ship with Ju­dith Leiber Cou­ture,” says Wynn Se­nior Vice Pres­i­dent of Re­tail Hedy Woodrow. “They have been tremen­dous part­ners for us.” Like­wise, says Ju­dith Leiber’s Cre­ative Di­rec­tor, Jana Mathe­son, “Ex­clu­siv­ity has been at the core of Ju­dith Leiber’s design phi­los­o­phy since our in­cep­tion in 1963. We have de­signed ex­clu­sives for many oc­ca­sions, from lead­ing ladies to first ladies.” The brand has cre­ated nu­mer­ous exclusive items for Wynn over the years, tak­ing in­spi­ra­tion from the re­sort it­self, in­clud­ing Wynn’s sig­na­ture car­pet pat­tern and but­ter­fly mo­tif. “Since our busi­ness at­tracts col­lec­tors, the Ju­dith Leiber team has been ex­tremely sup­port­ive of pro­vid­ing our store with very unique one-of-a-kind items,” says Woodrow. Most re­cently, Mathe­son was in­spired by the daz­zling flo­ral carousel in the Wynn atrium (cre­ated by de­signer Preston Bai­ley) to cre­ate a new nov­elty piece in honor of the launch of the Wynn Col­lec­tion bou­tique. Hand-painted and hand-set by a sin­gle Ital­ian ar­ti­san, each lim­ited-edi­tion clutch fea­tures a 19-inch chain, metal­lic napa leather lin­ing, and top clo­sure, and twin­kles with 11,736 crys­tals in 16 col­ors.
