She is a curator, teacher and writer. She is a PhD candidate in Art History and Latin American Studies at Leiden University. She holds a MA in Art History from the University of Amsterdam, and another one in Latin American and Caribbean Studies with a Concentration in Museum Studies from New York University. Recent exhibitions include 89 noches. Descolonizando la oscuridad y la sexualidad (Museo de Antioquia, Medellin) and Sin Oficio Ni Beneficio (Twelfth Havana Biennial). Her articles have been published in journals and she has edited and written various catalogues.
