A stream of Havana-based people, who are being increasingly joined by foreign visitors, board the small launch from dawn to dusk and it comes and goes from its dock at Old Havana’s Port Avenue to Regla village, on the
other shore of the bay. This is one of the most delightful tours offered by San Cristobal de La Habana City, which recently opened a cozy jetty that looks like a glass box with iron framework. In only five minutes and paying the super reasonable fee of 10 cents Cuban National Currency, travelers sail across the bay, which takes over 30 minutes when driving along the beltway. The service is provided from 4:00 am to 12 am. Amazing pictures can be taken during the voyage, lasting memories of a Havana that regains its splendor
to celebrate its 500th anniversary in 2019.
