The most valu­able brands in the world

Ac­cord­ing to the lat­est edi­tion of Mill­ward Brown’s an­nual Brandz re­port, Ap­ple has sur­passed Google to re­claim the throne and be­come the world’s most valu­able brand once again. Driven by the suc­cess of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Ap­ple’s brand value soared 67% to $247 bln, eclips­ing the value of last year’s lead­ing brand Google by more than $70 bln.

It has been ten years since WPP and Mill­ward Brown launched the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valu­able Global Brands sur­vey. Dur­ing the in­ter­ven­ing decade, 2006 to 2015, brand value in­creased 126% to $3.3 trln. This year alone, value rose 14%. (Source:
