More changes at EY Cyprus lead­er­ship

Just a month af­ter EY Cyprus an­nounced a new Coun­try Man­ag­ing Part­ner, the ‘Big Four’ au­dit firm that em­ploys 230 peo­ple said it was ad­mit­ting a se­nior ex­ec­u­tive into part­ner­ship and pro­mot­ing three oth­ers to Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tors, rais­ing the to­tal to seven.

Stavros Pantzaris, who took over as the Coun­try Man­ag­ing Part­ner as from July 1, suc­ceed­ing An­dreas Demetriou who re­tired af­ter a pro­fes­sional ca­reer of over three decades, said the pro­mo­tions “is part of our growth plans and im­prov­ing the level of ser­vice pro­vided to our clients.”

Ste­lios Demetriou, Head of Trans­ac­tion Ad­vi­sory Ser­vices, with 16 years of ser­vice un­der his belt, has been ad­mit­ted to part­ner­ship, join­ing five other part­ners. He is a mem­ber of the In­sti­tute of Char­tered Ac­coun­tants in Eng­land and Wales (ICAEW) and the In­sti­tute of Cer­ti­fied Public Ac­coun­tants of Cyprus (ICPAC).

Three se­nior man­agers have been pro­moted to Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tors: Christophoros Socra­tous, head of Global Com­pli­ance and Re­port­ing; Ni­cholas Pavlou, Au­dit and Fi­nance Ser­vices; and, Char­alam­bos Con­stanti­nou, Ad­vi­sory Ser­vices.
