Cof­fee Is­land adds Ethiopia Yukro to its ‘spe­cialty cof­fee’

Cof­fee Is­land is ex­pand­ing its Mi­croFarm Pro­ject with lim­ited edi­tion spe­cialty cof­fees from spe­cific pro­duc­ers around the world, by in­tro­duc­ing the Ethiopia Yukro from the coun­try’s Gera dis­trict. This fol­lows the re­cent in­tro­duc­tion of the Rwanda Gashonga Red Bour­bon.

The Ethiopia Yukro is avail­able for espresso or fil­ter cof­fee at its own espresso bars and for re­tail in 200 gr pack­ages. The sup­plies are ex­pected to last 3-4 months, un­til the in­tro­duc­tion of the next spe­cial­ity cof­fee.

Launched in Pa­tras in 1999, Cof­fee Is­land presently boasts 259 out­lets in Greece and Cyprus. www.cof­feeis­
