We have to build on the positive characteristics of the Cyprus shipping cluster and enhance it to better service the sector, with particular attention to after sale service.
Furthermore, the developments in the energy sector create opportunities for our country beyond our physical size. The necessary reforms must entail horizontal policies, executed by flexible public structures in close cooperation with the private sector. These will enable Cyprus to become an even bigger and stronger shipping centre.
