Etihad marks seven years in Cyprus
Etihad Airways this week marked the seventh anniversary of continuous services between Larnaca and Abu Dhabi. The national airline of the United Arab Emirates launched non-stop services in June 2009, with three flights per week and marked the anniversary with a reception at Larnaca airport’s check-in area attended by the airline’s staff in Cyprus and guests.
“During our seven years in the Cyprus market, we have experienced positive growth and enhanced cooperation with the local travel industry. Etihad Airways has demonstrated commitment to Cyprus, supporting the growth of business and leisure traffic via Abu Dhabi, and offering travelers a greater choice of destinations across the Gulf region, Indian Sub-continent, Asia and Australia,” said Abdelrahman Al Suwaidi, Etihad’s General Manager in Cyprus.
Etihad operates a two-class Airbus A320 between Abu Dhabi and Cyprus every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For information, visit: www.etihad.com.
