Qualco appoints Andreas Chrysafis as Cyprus Country Manager For Cyprus
Following the recent inauguration of Qualco Cyprus Ltd and with the aim to further strengthen its operational, executional and delivery capacity in the market, Qualco Group, a leader in the development of software and the provision of services to the credit and debt portfolio management sector, announced the appointment of Andreas Chrysafis as Country Manager.
Andreas Chrysafis is a seasoned professional with extensive managerial, strategic, operational and consulting experience spanning different industries. He has worked for Laiki Group, later Marfin Popular Bank, where he held the position of Manager of Network and Infrastructure Services, responsible for seven countries.
Chrysafis managed a number of infrastructure projects in the financial sector before moving to the Office of Electronic Communications and Postal Regulations (OCECPR) as Chairman of the Advisory Committee. His last appointment was on the Executive Board of Transparency Cyprus, the local division of a global nongovernmental organisation which leads the fight against corruption.
Chrysafis has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
As Country Manager, he will be responsible to develop and i mplement commercial strategies for the local market and manage new and existing client relationships, with the view to accelerate growth in the Cyprus market.
