PwC Cyprus welcomes 70 university graduates in its new intake
PwC Cyprus welcomed 70 university graduates who will be joining the organisation’s ACA and ACCA professional training schemes.
CEO Evgenios Evgeniou and Philippos Soseilos, Head of Human Capital, welcomed PwC’s newest members during an event in which they had the opportunity to learn more about the organisation and their training programme.
Evgeniou, who was recently re-elected chief executive of the firm for a second term, noted that, “our organisation believes in young people and their potential and continues to invest in the future by recruiting and training talented university graduates. We are proud of our country’s youth and we will continue to support the economy of Cyprus in every way possible”.
During the financial year which ended on June 30, PwC Cyprus recruited over 170 people including 90 university graduates who embarked on PwC’s 2015 ACA and ACCA professional training schemes. In addition, ten trainee accountants achieved worldwide and Pancyprian awards in the professional examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
