Carlos Rios, although born in Guayaquil, identifies himself with his lifetime neighborhood, San Blas/La Tola. He generously invited us inside his house, one of the oldest in the area, conversed with us about what life has been like here, and showed us that to love the neighborhood where you grew up, is to love your city.
