Ain’t no mountain high enough

Echo, one of the leading manufacturers of off-road trailers in South Africa, recently launched a new member of the family, the Echo 6. This trailer will get you from Cape Town to the Caprivi without hassles. If your Land Rover can make it, this trailer will follow in its tracks. When designing the Echo 6, the team at Echo reduced the panels, joints and welding in the main body to a minimum, saving 40 per cent on body weight from its predecessors. Echo says all the inner components were designed in modular fashion which speeds up fitment time and helps clients to further accessorise the trailer. Two suspension options are available, the leaf spring suspension with floating rear shackle, and a fully independent coil suspension for export. The trailer sleeps five, but for any extras such as a fridge, geyser and shower fittings on the tent, you will have to spend a little extra. Primary fun factor: Make your home anywhere you can find a patch of earth.

Price:P R190 000 (excluding extras) from Echo 4x4. Length:L 3.9m | Height: 2.2m | Width: 1.5m | Weight: 544kg
