MM Group signs 3rd mo­bile dis­tri­bu­tion agree­ment with Plus one Mar­ket­ing

Sales is ex­pected to to add in-ex­cess of EGP 50 mil­lion to the com­pany rev­enues in 2017

MM Group for in­dus­try and in­ter­na­tional trade signed an agree­ment with Plus one Mar­ket­ing to be­come an au­tho­rized distrib­u­tor of Free­tel Ja­pan mo­bile phones in the Egyp­tian mar­ket, the com­pany said in a press re­lease on Wed­nes­day.

The com­pany added that the sale of the mo­biles is sched­uled to start be­fore the end of 2017 and is ex­pected to gen­er­ate EGP 50 mil­lion for the com­pany rev­enues in its cur­rent fis­cal year 2017.

“Free­tel mo­bile Ja­pan phones are ex­pected to be well-re­ceived by the Egyp­tian mar­ket and to gain mar­ket shares rapidly. The ad­di­tion of Free­Tel Ja­pan Mo­bile to our phone port­fo­lio will broaden our prod­uct of­fer­ing, tar­get­ing a wider cus­tomer based,” said Khaled Mah­moud, the com­pany CEO

The com­pany dis­trib­utes sev­eral in­ter­na­tional brands in Egypt in­clud­ing Voda­fone, Sam­sung Elec­tron­ics, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Fer­rari.

Ear­lier this year, MM Group for In­dus­try & In­ter­na­tional Trade of­fer­ing 30% of its shares in pri­vate and pub­lic of­fer­ings, rais­ing 750 mil­lion pounds ($42 mil­lion).

The com­pany dis­trib­utes sev­eral in­ter­na­tional brands in Egypt in­clud­ing Voda­fone, Sam­sung Elec­tron­ics, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Fer­rari.
