ECS con­trib­utes to pro­vid­ing 104 ex­port op­por­tu­ni­ties worth $75m in Septem­ber

The Egyp­tian Com­mer­cial Ser­vice (ECS) of­fices par­tic­i­pated in the com­ple­tion of ex­port con­tracts, and the avail­abil­ity of 104 ex­port op­por­tu­ni­ties, val­ued at about $75m, for a num­ber of Arab and Euro­pean mar­kets, ac­cord­ing to Min­is­ter of Trade and In­dus­try, Amr Nas­sar.

Nas­sar added that the ECS of­fices have suc­ceeded in or­gan­is­ing Egyp­tian par­tic­i­pa­tion in five in­ter­na­tional ex­hi­bi­tions, as well as or­gan­is­ing 70 vis­its and com­mer­cial mis­sions. They also pre­pared 271 re­ports and mar­ket­ing stud­ies.

Ad­di­tion­ally, Nas­sar noted that the ECS of­fices dealt with a to­tal of 1,496 pro­mo­tion re­quests and com­mer­cial in­quiries.

Ahmed An­tar, head of the ECS, added that the ef­forts of the com­mer­cial of­fices abroad have con­trib­uted to­wards pro­vid­ing sev­eral in­vest­ment op­por­tu­ni­ties, as well as ar­rang­ing for mul­ti­ple events and vis­its, in or­der to at­tract for­eign in­vest­ments to Egypt.

The ECS of­fice in Bei­jing ar­ranged a visit for a del­e­ga­tion of the East Port Said De­vel­op­ment com­pany to visit China in or­der to pro­mote East Port Said’s in­dus­trial zone. In Guangzhou, an eco­nomic fo­rum was held, be­sides, a visit by an Ital­ian mis­sion to Alexan­dria was also sched­uled from 16 to 18 Septem­ber.
