Not all of us have seen William Ryder play recently and many are calling on Ben Ryan to select him and give him a second chance in 7s rugby.

But Ben has clearly said Ryder is not fit. Can we have a friendly match between the Vodafone Fijian 7s team and a local team that features Ryder in it? Ben the public trusts you and this will prove that your decision is right and if Ryder performs than who knows we might have a match winner in Rio.

It is very simple. There are just too many unnecessary deaths on our roads from all these irresponsible drunk drivers. It is just too much because it also impacts negatively on our own fragile economy including our Ministry of Health and various public utilities around the country.

I personally feel these so-called careless drivers do not have the respect for other people’s life including their own. Perhaps the LTA could consider increasing any new driver’s probation term to five years because according to statistics, it is the age group between 18 to 30 years who are considered to be the most dangerous drivers on our roads. The loss of innocent lives through road accidents caused by these idiots is not a joke anymore.

It is increasing as the day goes by specifically if one considers a country like Fiji with a population of less than 900,000. I am reliably informed that 80 per cent
