Young Netters Impress
The Suva Primary Schools Netball president Elenoa Vadei has commended the young netters for their performance at the LICI Courts in Laucala Bay yesterday. “It was good to see how the girls performed especially the Under-9 grade as this is their first time to play netball,” she said. “I was also impressed to see how they stood out during the games and that just shows the talents that these girls have.” Vadei added there would be new rules implemented to the games and is optimistic that the young netters would adapt well. “We have the new netball rules, though we have not implemented it. I’m sure these young players will adapt to these rules once it’s been implemented. The rules should be implemented by September.”
She said after the Easter break, the turnout was good and was impressed with the support from the families of the young netters.
“The passion for playing netball and to see their parents coming to watch and support them is really motivating.”
