Shipping services return to normal
Labasa: Patterson Shipping will resume normal shipping services today while Bligh Water Shipping had continued to provide service before and after Tropical Cyclone Zena. The Commissioner Northern, Jovesa Vocea, said Bligh Water Shipping vessel Westerland was operating from Savusavu Jetty as normal.
“The safety of passengers is the DISMAC’s main concern and many of them do not want to take the risk of travelling by boat during this bad weather condition,” Mr Vocea said. “The shipping companies are continuing to monitor the weather situation for the safety of their passengers.”
