Older women, take note! You can lower your risk for car­dio­vas­cu­lar disease with higher cal­cium in­take. Re­search has found that more di­etary cal­cium may lower risk of car­dio­vas­cu­lar disease but the diet change did not af­fect stroke or frac­ture risk. The re­search from South Korea sug­gests that in older peo­ple, higher di­etary cal­cium in­take may lower the risk of car­dio­vas­cu­lar disease, but not of stroke and frac­ture. Hin­dus­tan Times
