Ratu Kadavulevu School Parents and Teachers Association raised approximately $ 40,000 to prepare for this year’s Coca- Cola Games. Speaking to SUNsports yesterday RKS PTA executive, Nemani Tuweli, said the money was allocated for the school team’s tent, security, physiotherapists, masseurs and beds. “For the tent alone we spent around $10,000 for a big tent which will be comfortable for our athletes; in this tent we will have beds and we are also getting in masseurs and physiotherapists for our athletes. “We will also be hiring security guards to guard the tent at night and also to provide tight security for our athletes at their camp in Suva Grammar School to ensure that our athletes do not accept fast foods from outsiders, which could make athletes overeat,” Tuweli said.
