Los Angeles: Quantico star Priyanka Chopra has criticised Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s call for banning Muslim immigrants, saying generalising a type of people is “really primitive”. In December last year, Trump gave an extraordinary call to ban all Muslims from entering the US, including tourists and business travellers, a direct challenge to the nation’s constitutional right to the free exercise of religion. The Bollywood star shared her views about the battle against terrorism, which is an important issue during the 2016 US presidential race, at the TIME 100 gala on Tuesday night here, reports time.com. The Bollywood star’s name has been featured in Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the world alongside big celebrities including Trump. “I just think you can’t put a ban on anyone. Generalising a type of people is really primitive,” Priyanka said. She said the fight against terrorism had grown so complex, that “you can’t put a face on it any more”. Priyanka is shooting for Baywatch alongside Hollywood A-listers Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
