Suspect of stabbing case known to Police
Police revealed yesterday that a suspect was known in relation to the alleged stabbing of a 33-year-old woman inside her shop in Kinoya at midday on Monday but no one had been arrested yet.
Police chief of Intelligence and Investigations, assistant Commissioner of Police Luke Navela confirmed that no one had been arrested in relation to the case although a suspect had been known to Police. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said investigators were gathering evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack as the victim remained admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWMH). Ms Naisoro said investigations were continuing.
