Mexican Chef Puente @ Mamacita
Hola Amigos (Hello friends) Mamacita Mexican International Restaurant and Bar has introduced a chef all the way from Mexico. Sergio Eduardo Fernandez Puente has taken on the immense task to produce typical Mexican dishes identical to flavours from his homeland.
“There are about 300 different chilies we use for the meals back home,” Mr Puente said.
He said the chilies added different flavours that tantalised taste buds.
“A lot of the base of the food comes from corn, that’s pure traditional Mexican delicacies.” Mamacita Mexican Restaurant and Bar is now operating at two locations in Fiji, Wyndham Vacation Resort, Nadi and in Damodar City, Suva.
