Moroca charged with causing grievous bodily harm and theft
Aman, who allegedly attacked a woman in her Kinoya shop, has been further remanded in custody.
Jiuta Moroca, 31, appeared yesterday at Nasinu Magistrates Court. He has been charged with one count of act with intent to cause grievous harm and one count of theft.
It is alleged that on the May 9, Moroca allegedly punched Lin Li Sheng continuously using his fist until she was completely unconscious and allegedly ran away with $2000 in cash. He told Magistrate Sufia Hamza that he would be seeking the assistance of Legal Aid. No plea has been taken. The matter has been transferred to the High Court in Suva where it will be called on May 27.
