Seems our big two inter-island ferry operators are still having problems with co-ordinating movements. Word from out in Koro is of another waiting game on Saturday night involving vessels from Patterson Brothers and Goundar Shipping. That’s in one having to wait - some time, it is said - to use the Koro jetty to unload vehicles and people. A rival’s vessel was parked at the jetty.
All this in the middle of the night.

A junior lawyer started making “smart” remarks about our paper’s coverage. It dawned on him that we are nearing elections so he wants to make his views known. Memo to junior lawyer: No problem with people expressing their views. But do it in a more sober way rather than lashing out in a public place. Not good for your image.
