The Nasinu Netball Association officially opened their Fiji Gold knockout competition at LICI Courts, in Suva last Saturday.

Association secretary Sainiana Ledua said they aim to build their player base and get more teams. “We’ve a lot of Under-20 players and young primary school netters,” Ledua said.

“There are a lot of talented players around and we need to give these girls a chance to play the game.” She said they were aiming to get back their reps who have joined other associations. “We currently have 10 teams but we are extending our invitation to other teams to join the association. “We are very lucky and fortunate to have Fiji Gold sponsoring us for another year and recognising the potential that we have.”
