Who cares what the whole world thinks??? It’s for the Olympic Games... the games that’s about that!!! Where every athlete gets the chance to prove themselves against the worlds elite. He represented Fiji Bati and they made it to the Quarter finals in the world cup... He stays in Australia but always says he is Fijian through and through... And he feels honoured to be asked to represent Fiji. Never seen any negative feed back about his behaviour on and off the field and is very family orientated... Just like Fijians were brought up to be... So Gary chill out and let nature take it’s course... If it was meant to be... It was meant to be... Can’t beat him??? Support him .... #TosoViti #RioGold

Gary Martin

This is no cool. He is not really a ‘Fijian’ when did he last live here...? .... the whole world is going to think Fiji is desperate and can’t find local players - so it has to be buy players from over seas.

Vinny Edwards

I think there are many other gifted and talented Fijian 7’s players more deserving of winning a medal for their country than Jarryd Hayne

Tosh Tikovagone

I believe it’s Cool my fren, Gary Martin!!! He already proven to the world when he don the Fiji Bati Jersey back then in the World Cup... that means he can also play in the Rio Games. If you still not change your mind up??? Then, cross check your heart n mind!!!

Rajesh Kuldip

I thing its fair enough to give every fijian player around the world a fair chance to participate in Rio as this doesnt mean he is selected as confirm by the coaches all overseas players will need to go in their normal selection criteria. This will bring competition and each and every player will give their best and so “survival of the fittest “
