Courts Port De­na­rau Carnival set for May 28

The in­au­gu­ral Courts Port De­na­rau carnival will be held on May 28. This was con­firmed by Port De­na­rau Cen­tre Man­age­ment Lim­ited Gen­eral Man­ager Aysha Koya.

She said: “This carnival is for lo­cals and tourists and our aim is to bring hap­pi­ness and fun to ev­ery­one. “Ev­ery­one can come along, un­wind, en­joy Port De­na­rau’s hos­pi­tal­ity and ex­pe­ri­ence the Fi­jian warmth and cul­tural diver­sity.

“All our restau­rants will have food stalls and re­tail shops that will have great deals. “Peo­ple from all over Fiji can come and try some­thing dif­fer­ent at De­na­rau.” Ms Koya thanked Courts for com­ing on board as the ma­jor spon­sor for the event. “We were look­ing for a ma­jor spon­sor for this carnival and Courts Fiji kindly took on board our pro­posal. Some fea­tures of this event would be the kids and adult rides, candy floss and snow. She added the event will be sched­uled ev­ery last Satur­day of ev­ery month from 9am till mid­night. It’s a free fun fam­ily day and night event.

Tourism Fiji Pub­lic Re­la­tions Co­or­di­na­tor Kelvin An­thony said the event will bring a new cre­ative di­men­sion to Port De­na­rau ma­rina.
