Aust Recalls Explosive Winger
The Australian rugby sevens team are determined to make amends of their Cup quarterfinal loss to the Vodafone Fijian 7s team at the Paris tournament. This weekend the Aussies have been pooled with the Vodafone Fijians and coach Andy Friend has already made six changes.

“I’ve not had the luxury of being able to select Pama as yet— but he’s been looking sharp since returning to full training and to see him and Henry Hutchison combine is a potentially explosive mix,” Friend said. Australia have been drawn in Pool C alongside hosts England, world champions Fiji, who are expected to include former rugby league and NFL star Jarryd Hayne in their squad, and Wales. Friend said the competitiveness in the pool would represent a huge challenge for his young team. “Challenges don’t get much bigger than the pool we have drawn. World Series champions-elect Fiji, a fullstrength England side on home soil and a Wales team who have proved on more than one occasion that they are a match for anyone.
It’s a huge challenge, but an exciting one at the same time.” London has been a happy hunting ground for the Australian sevens team in recent years having reached the last three Cup Finals at the Home of English Rugby.
