Waratahs sign Naiyaravoro
The Waratahs have welcomed back Taqele Naiyaravoro with the Fijian-born winger signing a two-year deal at New South Wales until the end of the 2018 season. Naiyaravoro, who chalked up 20 caps with NSW and one game in a Wallabies jumper before leaving for the Glasgow Warriors, will now be available for the Waratahs’ last three games of the season after the June Test break.
The 24-year-old has also been included in the Wallabies 39-man squad for a camp on the Sunshine Coast, with coach Michael Cheika unsure at this stage whether Naiyaravoro would be a chance of adding to his one Test against USA in September last year. “It will depend how he comes back from overseas,” Cheika said.
