Naypyi­daw: A Bud­dhist mob burned down a mosque in north­ern Myan­mar dur­ing the holy month of Ra­madan as anti-Mus­lim sen­ti­ment boiled over in the South­east Asian na­tion, for­merly known as Burma. Around 100 Po­lice of­fi­cers were brought in to guard Mus­lims liv­ing in Hpakant, a jade-min­ing town in Kachin state. Daily Mail
