New registry office to open in Nabouwalu
Vocea outlines new developments for after Budget allocations
The Commissioner Northern Jovesa Vocea said the opening of the new Birth, Death and Marriage (BDM) office in Nabowalu was great news for the people of Bua. It will save them time and money. “The current procedure to access BDM services for the people of Bua is to visit the Provincial Administrator Bua office to lodge their application before Provincial Administrator Office sends these application forms to BDM Office in Labasa for processing,” Mr Vocea said. “With the new establishment of BDM Office in Nabouwalu it is great news to the people of Bua given that all their application will be processed in Nabouwalu.
“People will be able to save a lot of money; so both issues on time and money spent will be solved.” Mr Vocea said with the budget allocation given to each ministry he was really looking forward to work with them on the implementation of various projects especially for Northern Division. “I am very happy knowing that most of the funds allocated for the Northern division would boost government services especially for the vulnerable people living in our rural areas,” Mr Vocea said. “I had a meeting with the heads of Government department yesterday to hear from them about their achievement this year and what was programmed for the new financial year.”
