Police investigations are still underway in relation to the death of a three-year-old girl who died last week. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the girl was admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital last Saturday.

She said initial report showed the girl sustained injuries from jumping from a couch. Ms Naisoro said the case was being treated as a suspicious death. “Post mortem indicated the victim died due to serious injuries and what actually transpired or the circumstances surrounding her death,” she said. “At this point we can confirm that family members have been questioned as investigations continue.”
