PNG High Com­mis­sioner Lucy Bog­ari presents cre­den­tials to PIFS sec­re­tary gen­eral

Pa­pua New Guinea’s High Com­mis­sioner to Fiji, Lucy B Bog­ari, has pre­sented her cre­den­tials as the Per­ma­nent Rep­re­sen­ta­tive of the in­de­pen­dent state of Pa­pua New Guinea to the Pa­cific Is­land Fo­rum.

The let­ter of in­tro­duc­tion was de­liv­ered dur­ing a courtesy call last Fri­day to Dame Meg Tay­lor, the Sec­re­tary Gen­eral of the Pa­cific Is­lands Fo­rum. “Your Ex­cel­lency, we are deeply hon­ored by your visit and we ac­knowl­edge you as the Per­ma­nent Rep­re­sen­ta­tive to the Pa­cific Is­lands Fo­rum,” said Dame Meg. “We wel­come you and the Fo­rum Sec­re­tariat stands ready to con­tin­u­ing work­ing with you and in fur­ther strength­en­ing ex­ist­ing close co­op­er­a­tion be­tween the PNG gov­ern­ment and the Fo­rum Sec­re­tariat.”

Along with her cre­den­tials, Ms Bog­ari pre­sented the Sec­re­tary Gen­eral with a Ko­tupu, or Chiefly Neck­lace, and a tapa cloth, both from Oro Prov­ince of PNG.
