FIJI ROADS AUTHORITY ADVISES TRAVEL SAFE ON OUR ROADS IN THIS RAIN

Fiji Sun - - Nation -

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is urging motorists to remain aware of challenging road conditions to be expected with the current wet weather.

FRA chief executive officer John Hutchinson says this caution is for both motorists and pedestrians. “Motorists and members of the public are advised not to cross flooded or swollen streams. Other prevailing conditions include slippery road surfaces especially on the unsealed road network and potholes on sealed road surfaces. “Fiji Roads Authority maintenance contractors are undertaking inspections and carrying out repairs as appropriate across the network to repair public transport service routes affected by the current weather.”
