Project Support Assistant MACBIO
SHORT-TERM LOCAL CONSULTANCY
IUCN is inviting applications for a 4-months local consultancy beginning September 2016 to undertake the role of Project Support Assistant for the Marine and Coastal Biodiversity Management in Pacific Island Countries and Atolls (MACBIO) project. The Assistant is expected to contribute to the logistics, administration and reporting requirements of MACBIO to help achieve the project outcome and outputs.
The MACBIO project is being implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in close collaboration with the IUCN Oceania Regional Office and SPREP to achieve stipulated project outcome and outputs. Outcome (overarching project goal): The sustainable management of marine and coastal biodiversity in selected Pacific island states is strengthened by ecosystem service valuation, marine spatial planning and advice on protected areas.
