Netball Fiji president Wainikiti Bogidrau confirmed 30 teams have been confirmed for the 2-day event. “As always, we are expecting a tough challenge in the A and B grades of our major and minor divisions,” she said. “The grade to watch would be the U20 competition as many of these players will be vying to showcase their skills in order to impress national selectors.” A team from the Fiji-Auckland community will also field a team in the U20. Suva is the defending champs of the three grades in the major grade while Naitasiri was the minor grade winner last year. The championship starts at 8.30am on Friday.
