It’s the drink that can make you run up the Sigatoka Sand Dunes. This is what is dubbed as the new range of cocktails the ‘Bounty Ryan’ and ‘Ben Ryan shots’ that was introduced at O’Reillys Bar in Suva on Friday following the historic gold medal win of the Fiji Men Sevens team at the Olympics in Rio. Bar manager Brandon Diriba said the drinks are made from a mixture of Bounty dark rum, fresh Tahitian lime and brown sugar which is originally practiced in Brazil. “The drink was introduced this month in line with our Brazilian theme,” he said. “We wanted to bring the momentum of the Rio Olympic Games to our customers and what better way to recognise their achievement.” The range of drinks is also available at Shenanigans Bar and Bad Dog Cafe outlets in Suva and Damodar City.
