Learning Experience For Rockefellers
The Rockefellers will use the Valerie Daveta Memorial Tournament as a build up for their young players. The team which was formed in 2014 is the champion team from the western division. Team captain Marcus Hicks said the exposure of their young players is important as the hockey is a real eye opener for them. “In Lautoka we are used to playing hockey on grass but the turf at National Hockey Centre is different and good for the boys,” Hicks said. “Most of the players are students and we want to grow the interest and bring in more players to tournaments such as this one in future. The Valerie Daveta Memorial Tournament will finish today.
