VIDEO-ARVIND SINGH , MANAGER OF BA FOOTBALL SAYS THERE IS A LACK OF TRAINING AND FITNESS IN BA PLAYERS AS THE TEAM IS NOT ABLE TO TRAIN TOGETHER ESPECIALLY WHEN SOME WERE IN RIO WHILE OTHERS HERE: Sailesh Prakash

All being said about BA not performing n Rio as an excuse. Ba will win some games and tournaments in future no doubts. Ba Football Association should have a plan in place before start of the season. In fact a five year plan for youth development and for the senior team. Ba football is running the team with just a game plan and focusing on tournaments only. There is absolutely no development plan in place. Ba Football should be proactive with primary, secondary and local soccer. Affiliate schools with Ba Football soccer development programmes for progress. This way Ba will again dominate soccer in Fiji.

Fitness is secondary. Skills, talent and team management is primary

2 CRASHES , 2 MORE DEAD: Jenn Rowsell

So not surprised. Last two Sunday’s have seen multiple near head on’s!! One nearly got us last night. And not only cars! Bus’s and trucks are doing stupid things. Time for the police to be out and about clocking people and breathalyzing. Radom breath checking stations would be good. You can’t get a life back! It’s out of control. Feeling very sorry for innocent victim

I was in Fiji 3 yrs ago on a trip from Suva to Savusavu and I can say the ship was overcrowded. The conditions were less than ideal, toilets were dirty and the diesel fumes was overwhelming to say the least. I must admit the standards in Canada are far different from Fiji, but the ferries were originally from BC, in Canada. The maintenance was not kept upto par.

KATAIWAI LAMENTS GRANDSON’S DEATH Faith Jedidiah

It saddens me to hear about the death of that 4years, Josua. My humble condolences to the family. Anyways, my main concerns are “little children”. I don’t think that this is fate or bad luck that’s been going on in the generation as mentioned by Mr Kataiwai. I think that this is carelessness of adults. Children needs to be taught about safety first. Parents/ Adults needs to always be aware of their children’s safety in the house as well as outside the house. My advice to every parent(s) and young single adults: If you have a child under yours or under someone else’s watch/ care, children will be children and they are far more precious than anything of this world so please be very alert at all times. Do not leave them unattended for too long.
