Water supply in Nadi disrupted for upgrade
Water supply in selected areas in Nadi will be disrupted on Tuesday, September 13, to allow for the connection of larger water pipelines through the area. “WAF has announced the disruption of the water supply in selected areas in Nadi set for 9am until 9pm Tuesday 13th September 2016,” said Water Authority of Fiji chief executive Opetaia Ravai.
“The disruption will allow for the connection of a larger water pipeline that will boost water pressure and improve the supply of water to existing customers in Nadi as well as those living in Momi Bay, the site of a new major resort. “The new section of the pipeline has been connected to the existing system and will be commissioned and brought into service at the end of this month when all work will be completed.” Source: Water Authority of Fiji
