Poli­tini Jnr to de­liver maiden speech in Parlt to­mor­row

Newly sworn in Gov­ern­ment MP, Howard Poli­tini Jnr, will de­liver his maiden speech in Par­lia­ment to­mor­row.

The 41-year-old said that he was look­ing for­ward to his role and serv­ing the peo­ple of Fiji. “Again I must ac­knowl­edge the Hon­or­able Prime Min­is­ter and At­tor­ney-Gen­eral for this op­por­tu­nity, way back in 2014 when I was se­lected to be part of the Fi­jiFirst Party,” Mr Poli­tini said. Mr Poli­tini Jnr comes with a wealth of ex­pe­ri­ence in the tourism sec­tor hav­ing spent 10 years in the in­dus­try. He is the man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Nau­tilus Ad­ven­ture Tours and Cruises. He is the chair­per­son and board of trus­tees of Na­maka Pub­lic School – the largest school in the Western di­vi­sion by roll num­bers.

Mr Poli­tini Jnr’s en­try comes af­ter the Min­istry of Im­mi­gra­tion, Na­tional Se­cu­rity, and De­fence Min­is­ter’s Ti­moci Natuva re­signed from Gov­ern­ment. Ratu Inoke Kubuabola is now the new min­is­ter.
