Hun­dreds turn out to en­joy evening with Bol­ly­wood sen­sa­tional singer

Fans of Bol­ly­wood singing sen­sa­tion, Mika Singh, danced to his su­per hit songs dur­ing his live show at the Voda­fone Arena in Suva on Tuesday. Amongst his fans were Act­ing Prime Min­is­ter and At­tor­ney Gen­eral, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and the Min­is­ter for Health and Med­i­cal Ser­vices, Rosy Ak­bar.

Singh also sang his el­der brother, Daler Mehndi’s Pun­jabi hits while fans also heard some hits from the ever­green le­gend Kishore Ku­mar, dur­ing his show. The Fiji Sun team spoke to some of Singh’s fans. Amongst them was a 50-year-old Kishori Lal from Viria, Naitasiri, who came down to Suva with his chil­dren to watch Singh’s show.

He said he loves to lis­ten to Singh’s songs and wanted to meet him in per­son. “I came to Suva af­ter many months and I am very thank­ful of my chil­dren who brought me here to watch him per­form for us,” Mr Lal said. Ex­cited 10-year-old Akash Prasad of Suva said Singh was his favourite. “I love Mika Singh’s Subha Hone

Na De song and I came here to lis­ten to that song and see him per­form live,” Akash said. James Wil­liams, 23, of Muanikoso, Nas­inu said Singh was one of the best singers in Bol­ly­wood. “Mika Singh is one of the best and he has given many hit songs in a short pe­riod of time to Bol­ly­wood,” he said. Fazee­lat Singh, 24, of Narere came down to the show for her son, Zion Singh, 3, who loves to dance to Singh’s hits. “My son loves to hear Mika Singh’s songs. When­ever it plays over the radio, he will get up to dance and sing along with it,” Ms Singh said. Over 500 peo­ple at­tended the Live Show. Singh thanked his fans for their love and sup­port.

He hopes to re­turn to Fiji for another big hit show in the next two years.
