Di­wali Cel­e­bra­tions for Bank of Bar­oda

Speak­ing as chief guest, In­dia’s High Com­mis­sioner to Fiji Vish­vas Sap­kal con­grat­u­lated Bank of Bar­oda for their suc­cess­ful op­er­a­tions in their var­i­ous branches in Fiji.

Bank of Bar­oda, on Wed­nes­day, cel­e­brated the Fes­ti­val of Lights in style with their staff, cor­po­rate part­ners and in­vited guests at the Ksha­triya Hall in Suva. The bank’s Di­wali Mi­lan was a night of bright lights and ra­di­ant at­tires as they sig­ni­fied the an­tic­i­pated an­nual event on the Hindu cal­en­dar.

Speak­ing as chief guest, In­dia’s High Com­mis­sioner to Fiji Vish­vas Sap­kal con­grat­u­lated Bank of Bar­oda for their suc­cess­ful op­er­a­tions in their var­i­ous branches in Fiji.

He also lauded their ef­forts in con­tribut­ing to­wards the re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion and re­lief of those af­fected by Trop­i­cal Cy­clone Win­ston. Sev­eral per­for­mances from the Masti Dance Group filled the at­mos­phere with the cel­e­brant spirit of Di­wali. The event was also graced by Re­serve Bank of Fiji Gov­er­nor Barry Whiteside among other prom­i­nent busi­ness fig­ures. Edited by Jonathan Bryce
