A se­nior Gov­ern­ment source has told the ABC the idea Mr Ab­bott was not aware of a deal with Lib­eral Demo­crat se­na­tor David Ley­on­hjelm to let an im­port ban on the high­ca­pac­ity Adler shot­gun lapse was “rub­bish”.
